Wholesale prices on Shopify, without Plus.
Tag a customer wholesale. They see your wholesale prices on your product pages, and checkout charges exactly that.
MobWerk Wholesale is coming to the Shopify App Store. To hear when it does, or to try it early, write to support@mobwerk.com.
Retail $24.99
| Quantity | Price each |

| 5 or more | $14.25 |
| 10 or more | $13.00 |
Setting it up
- Install the app and set your wholesale discount, for example 40% off everything.
- Add the tag wholesale to the customers who buy from you in bulk. Everyone else, including anyone who isn't signed in, keeps paying your retail prices.
- Add the Wholesale price block to your product page in the theme editor. No theme code is edited.
- If you want order minimums, turn on the checkout rule in Settings, Checkout. The app's Setup page walks you through it.
What you can set
- A wholesale discount
- One percentage for every product, or none if you only want to price some products.
- Quantity breaks
- Deeper discounts from a quantity you choose: 43% off from 5 units, 48% from 10.
- Product rates
- A product of your choice gets its own percentage and its own quantity breaks.
- Order minimums
- A minimum order value, a minimum number of items, or a minimum quantity of a product. Wholesale customers can't check out below them. Retail customers are never blocked.
Why the price holds at checkout
A wholesale app that only changes what the product page shows depends on checkout agreeing. When it doesn't, a wholesale customer is charged a price they never saw.
MobWerk works the other way round. The discount is calculated by Shopify's own checkout, through Shopify Functions, from the same rules that set the price on the product page. The two can't drift apart, and there are no draft orders, duplicate products or hidden variants to keep in sync.
Your theme isn't edited. The price display is a block you place and remove in the theme editor like any other.
Good to know before you install
- At checkout the wholesale price appears as a discount, with your retail price struck through, not as a different list price.
- Quantity breaks count each cart line on its own. Ten mugs reach the 10-unit break; five in one color and five in another do not.
- The price block needs an Online Store 2.0 theme, the kind that supports app blocks. All of Shopify's free themes are.
- Customers are recognized by the tag wholesale on their customer account, so they need to be signed in to see wholesale prices.
Your customers' data stays in Shopify
The app doesn't read your customer list and keeps no customer data. Your settings are stored in your own Shopify store, not on our servers. The details are in the privacy policy.
